Nearby Attractions
If you come to Thasos you will no doubt read up on all the beaches, attractions and taverns. But we thought we'd share a few of our favourites close to Klisma Beach House.

Klisma
Klisma is a beautiful, pebbled beach just two kilometres from the village of Skala Kallirachi. There are two traditional taverns on this beach where you can enjoy fresh fish and traditional Greek dishes, and they are just a few metres from Klisma Beach House.
-
Sokratis Klisma Seafood: Our favourite place on the island. Delicious food next to the sea. There's nothing more relaxing on a holiday.
-
To Palio Klisma: Friendly staff, good food and a wonderful setting. The tavern is right next to Sokratis and offers Live Greek Music Nights on Wednesdays.

Skala Kallirachi
Skala Kallirachi is the nearest village to Klisma, just 2km away. You will find all the essential shops you might need during your stay: two supermarkets, a bakery, pharmacy and cafes and restaurants. The Bakery "Kouman" serves delicious Greek specialities and coffee to-go.
Kallirachi
Kallirachi is a traditional mountain village, only 3 km away and offers everything you need for everyday life. In the evenings the main square of the village, the "plateia" gets lively. There are restaurants and cafes around and often there'll be spontaneous live music.
Skala Maries
Skala Maries is another village south from Klisma, with a very picturesque habour. There are many restaurants and two sandy beaches.
The main beach has also a large inflatable waterpark complex in the sea which is great for children.
The second beach ist just outside the village called "Atspas". It is a small bay with a sandy beach and very clear water with fantastic colours. It is often popular with families as it is usually calmer than some of the main island hotspots.

Limenaria
Limenaria is the second largest town on the island and popular among visitors. Along the beautiful waterfront promenade are numerous tavernas, restaurants and shops. It gets lively in the evenings. and is definetly worth a visit when coming to Thasos. Around Limenaria you will also find many sandy beaches, also with water sport facilities.

Kazaviti
A picturesque mountain village worth visiting. On the main square you find a tavern with a very old tree on which kids love to climb on. The tables are in the shades of trees, and you will be surprised to find out how nice and cool it is even at lunchtime. The tavern is famous for its traditional dishes of “katsikaki” (little goat) and “arni” (lamb) grilled on the spit.
