How to find us

  • There is no airport on the island of Thasos. Most international visitors arrive via Kavala airport on the mainland (although Thessaloniki airport is another viable alternative).
  • The quickest route to Thasos is via the ferry port in Keramoti (20 minute from Kavala airport with a taxi or hire car). In the summer, ferries run from Keramoti to Limenas (the main town on Thasos) every 30-45 minutes, and take about 40 minutes.
  • An alternative route is the Kavala-Prinos ferry, particularly if you would like to explore the city of Kavala. The ferry takes longer (around 75 minutes), but leaves from the centre of Kavala, and there is a shorter drive to Klisma Beach House once from Prinos than Limenas.
  • If you are travelling with you own car, both ferries are equipped to take both cars and foot passengers.

  • Check the Thasos ferry website for details here.
  • Once you have arrived on Thasos, Klisma Beach House is approximately 40 minutes drive from Limenas or 15 minutes drive from Prinos.
  • If you are hiring a car on Thasos there are plenty of options.
  • You can park outside Klisma Beach House with no problem.
